Daffodils
Cornish King bulbs are produced to the highest possible standards.
During the growing season, the daffodils are inspected by the UK Plant Health Authority for leaf virus, eel worm and rogue plants. They also inspect the dry bulbs prior to despatch. If they comply with UK plant health standards, a Certificate of Plant Health is issued to the grower. Only bulbs with this certificate will be offered for sale.
Dutch Bulbs
All bulbs are from cultivated stock and have a plant passport number.
These numbers are checked on the fields and in the warehouses by the B.K.D. (Bloembollen Keurings Dienst - a Dutch governmental organisation responsible for checking flower bulbs).
A.I.D. (Algemene Inspectie Dienst) also carries out checks with the growers and exporters to provide the highest quality possible.
